Alpha Powersport is located in Houlton, Wisconsin and specializes in aftermarket service and products for the Polaris Slingshot. They recently made news by building maybe the most powerful Slingshot in the world.
Alpha Powersport calls their creation the Monster 62RR because instead of the factory 2.4 L Ecotec inline-four there sits a 6.2 L LS3 V8. That is a monumental increase in power and torque for a vehicle that only weighs 1,750 lbs.
If increasing the power from 173 horsepower to 430 horsepower wasn’t enough the team decided to install a Precision 76 mm turbocharger taking the power level to 750 horsepower. This results in the Monster 62RR having a 258% increase in displacement and a 433% increase in horsepower.
With so much power the factory five-speed manual transmission was replaced with a GM 4L65E automatic transmission with a custom shifting system developed by Alpha Powersport.
Since building the Monster 62RR, Alpha Powersport has received several orders for LSx-powered Slingshots. If you are interested in having one built for you Alpha says they cost between $30K-35K depending on options.

it go 430 to 750 horsepower in how many seconds?
in how many seconds?
They didn’t list how fast the Slingshot could accelerate.
that much power to 1 wheel ?!?!
where does traction come from
this will answer the questions. 4 wheels 11 second 1/4 mile …. https://engineswapdepot.com/?p=13487
The cost to build is $30,000 to $35,000. Total or is that on top of the Slingshots cost? I have a 2015 SL and would like the larger engine, but can’t afford to double the cost.
Hi William. Alpha Powersport went out of business.
QuadzillaLS3 has this on his ticktoc account. Has 4 wheels now
Thanks for the update.
