1969 Mustang with a Shelby GT500 Supercharged V8

1969 Mustang with a supercharged 5.8 L Trinity V8

This 1969 Mustang was built for a lucky customer by Roadster Shop in Mundelein, Illinois. Under the hood sits a supercharged 5.8 L Trinity V8 from a 2013-2014 Shelby GT500 that makes 681 horsepower thanks to a 2.3 L TVS Supercharger and Ford GT camshafts. It rides on a Fast Track IRS chassis with Penske Racing adjustable coilovers, Baer disc brakes, and Forgeline 18-inch Grudge wheels with their Flush-Loc centerlock conversion.

  1. Did they have to use that type of hood? I’m interested in building something similar but I don’t want a hood scoop. Possibly a fake shaker but not a that huge hood scoop. Thanks
