This 1999 Porsche 911 convertible is for sale on eBay in Aurora, Colorado with a starting bid of $26,500 and buy-it-now of $34,500. The sports car’s power comes from a 6.2 L LS3 V8 crate motor from Pace Performance installed by Renegade Hybrids connected to a On3 Performance 7875 turbocharger installed by V.I. Engineered. The combo is good for 620 horsepower and 665 lb-ft of torque at 9 psi of boost on E85 fuel sprayed through FIC 75 lb injectors. In front of the engine is the factory Porsche six-speed manual transaxle.

26k is actually an ok price for this. 34k is into crack pipe territory, but 26…If it were a hard top I’d be bidding on it.
Cracked rear window, dent in engine lid, scratch on door– these should have been fixed BEFORE he put it on eBay
The overall idea is interesting, but I don’t think I like what they did with the turbo system. The intercooler appears to be solidly mounted to the chassis, and the couplers used to attach it to the turbocharger and the charge piping are not hump hoses or anything that would likely have much “give”, so it seems to me like something would break. Also not sure how much airflow they’re getting back there. Is there enough room to run an air filter on the turbo? The idea of having the turbo inlet BEHIND the rear wheel, without a filter (at least, none is pictured) makes me more than a bit nervous.
