Race Car Replicas is a company out of Fraser, Michigan offering turn-key replicas based on famous race cars. They start with accurate bodies often taken from the original molds and under that install an aluminum semi-monocoque chassis with a modern drivetrain. The Monoposto is a replica they offer based on the 1958 Ferrari F1. The car weighs 1,300 lbs and offers a perfect 50/50 weight balance. Under the body sits a Motus 1650 cc MV4 V4 crate engine capable of producing 180 horsepower and 123 lb-ft of torque. Behind the engine sits a Borg-Warner T5 five-speed transmission and a BMW M5 rear end with 4.10 gears.
