1965 Ford Cortina with a Honda S2000

Honda F20C inside engine bay of 1965 Ford Cortina

At some point a S2000 lost control and wrapped the back end around a tree or pole. Unfortunatly the body was lost but the S2000′s heart got a second chance. The 247 horsepower F20C found a new place inside the engine bay of a 1965 Ford Cortina. The F20C is using all factory wiring and ECM. Also installed is a full roll cage and upgraded suspension to help this classic iron in the turns. The car currently weights 1,800 lbs which is roughly 1,000 lbs lighter then a S2000.

Hey, great conversion especially on the Power to Weight. I’ve stuck a few different engines in Cortinas over the years and still have a soft spot for them. Let us know how it goes.
