This 2011 Hyundai Genesis Coupe is Matt Haugen’s Pro-Am drift car. The car was built by Matt’s own company Haugen Racing and Street Standard. Over the past few years this car has been through three major revisions, each time getting more powerful. The first engine choice was a cam’d 5.7 L LS1 which eventually gave way to a CBM Motorsports built LS2 producing around 600 horsepower. In the continuing horsepower wars in drifting, more is always better. Now Matt is running a CBM Motorsports built 427 ci LS3 with a 4.0 L Whipple supercharger. This combo is good for over 1,000 horsepower.
