1972 Camaro “Sicmaro”

From Lateral-G‘s member’s area comes Reid Camp’s 1972 Camaro powered by a 2002 LS6 swap.

I basically wanted a new vehicle wrapped in an old box.

The car was purchased in 1998 but it really began the transformation in 2003 after an accident left the car pretty messed up. After this little speed bump Reid decided he would begin from the bottom and have the car stripped and media blasted. After a coat of paint he installed a roll cage, LS6/TH350, Qa1 coil overs, seats from a 2000 F body, custom fabricated gauge cluster, power windows and locks with keyless entry, and to top it off replaced conventional bulbs with LED lights all around the car.

  1. I am putting a ls1 in my 73 camaro. The ride height is 3.5 inches off the ground from the front crossmember. My question is, specifically, what headers did you use? How low do they hang? and did you have to modify them to fit. My car sits low and I don’t want them to hang down. Pacestter was no help. Thank you brett
