Kenneth Alm built his 2009 Volkswagen Scirocco for drifting in Norway. Kenneth swapped the engine, transmission, AWD system, front subframe and suspension from an Audi A4 Quattro.
The engine is consists of a 2.5L straight-five Audi diesel block with a polished and ported Audi S2 20V head. The internals have all been upgraded to handle a large Precision PT67/68 turbocharger. On 29 psi (2.0 bar) of boost the engine produces 800+ horsepower and 737+ lb-ft (1,000+ Nm) of torque.
Because the engine took up so much space the section of the car behind the driver is filled with fuel and cooling systems. The air vents on the side are functional and feed air into the radiator in the back.
Speedhunters featured the car in 2014. Since then Kenneth has been continually improving on the car.
How many tires does it take to get to the center of a drift win?
