Motus V4 Swap Kit for Polaris RZR XP1000

2015 Polaris RZR XP1000 with a Motus V4 swap kit being tested on the dunes

Pratt & Miller and Motus have teamed up to develop an engine swap kit that allows a Motus V4 to run in a Polaris RZR XP1000. They are calling it the MV4-ZR crate engine kit and it allows your RZR to have 64% more power than the ProStar 1000 HO and 25% more than the ProStar Turbo. The kit will require an approved dealer/installer for installation and unfortunately will not be sold by itself as confirmed by Motec. There is no word on prices or approved installers at this time. If you are unfamiliar with the Motus V4 Baby Block, it is based off the architecture of a pushrod V8. The 1650 cc 90° V4 produces 180 horsepower and 123 lb-ft of torque and features 2-valve, pushrods, chain driven cam, and hydraulic roller lifters.
