German automotive show GRIP took a tour of BMW’s vast car collection. These were projects were made either for the movies or for experimental reasons. Among the many vehicles they recorded there were three pretty unique engine swaps.
Project Goldfish
This project was created to test a SOHC 32v 6.7 L V16 prototype engine design that was based on a M70 V12 engine. The engine was installed in a modified BMW 7-series E32 and ran a six-speed manual transmission from a BMW 8-series E31.
