Jay Leno recently talked about his 1952 MG TD he purchased from David Stenmark. David found the car 40 years ago without an engine and decided the car would be rebuilt to go fast in a straight line. The engine he choose was a 350 ci SBC stroked to 383 ci which produces around 340 horsepower to the rear wheels. In the beginning of the video Jay shows how Wilwood designed a brake package for the front wheels. Wilwood says the package will soon be available to MG owners from their catalog.

I built a MGTF in the sixties with a 327-375 hp fuelie and drove it every day for six years.
Sounds like a very nice daily driver.
Hello looking to perform v8 to my mgtd
Hi Ever. I recommend researching and asking for tips in the MG Expereince forum and British V8 forum.
I did that. 350 Chevy, Muncie trans, Hurst, Chevy S10 posi rear, adapters to use the MG wheels on the back, and the hood closes. But if you look through the louvers you can see the chrome valve covers. Not done yet but close. Whole car looks stock from the outside.
