The Mazda Miata in the video below comes close to hitting the wall several times. At the end of the video the driver explains the 2.6 L RB26 inline-six got too hot waiting to race and the core plug blew out spilling coolant on one of the rear tires during the race. The Miata previously ran a 2.5 L RB25 inline-six but was upgraded to the RB26 which produces 800+ horsepower thanks to a Garrett GT42-45R turbocharger making 26 psi of boost. Helping apply that power to the ground is a Powerglide two-speed automatic transmission, GM rear end, custom axles, and a pair of 26×10.5 slicks.
