This is ZCars’ Lotus Elise development car. It was used to design a kit to run a Hayabusa engine in the Elise. The engine has been upgraded to handle 250 horsepower and is controlled by a DTA S60 ECU. Gear shifts are controlled by ZCars’ proprietary drive box with LSD. Since the engine combo is lighter than the factory setup the car has a better weight distribution. The video shows off the engine bay and the amazing test drive.

Do offer this conversion for customers? And if so how much does it costs?
Hi Mike. ZCars does not list a kit for the Elise. However since they make kits for installing a Hayabusa in a Mini, maybe they could make you one.
