Datsun 240Z with L28ET

L28ET swapped 240Z

Viczcar.com has just published another great article on Austin Hoke’s 1971 Datsun 240Z with a L28ET swap. The L28ET engine out of his previous ride, a 260Z, which was involved in a decent accident. He also upgraded just about everything else on the car including the Z32 five speed transmission and clutch. Along with the upgrades Austin spent a fair amount of time on body work since the car was apparently eaten through with rust.

His next step is replacing the L28ET with a 2004 VQ35DE. After the VQ has been swapped he then plans on turbocharging it to around 600 hp. His blog showcasing the VQ swap. His old site showing the restoration and first swap.
