Tony Angelo’s Drift Barracuda

Tony Angelo's Pro-touring 1972 Barracuda with a 6.4 L HEMI V8

Tony Angelo from Hot Rod Garage has always wanted to build a muscle car that could also do some drifting. Since he has a strong love for Mopar he had always wanted to build a Barracuda. After a lot of back-and-forth with an owner in Kentucky he ended up purchasing a 1972 Plymouth Barracuda. For those eagle-eyed Mopar fans the tail light panel is from a 1970-1971 Barracuda. Tony is calling the project “FishTail” and will feature a 6.4 L HEMI V8, T-56 Magnum six-speed manual transmission and Currie 9″ rear end with 4.11 gears. The suspension will be also be upgraded with a custom independent front and three-link/panhard rear suspension. Tony and his FishTail ‘Cuda will be making their debut at SEMA 2016.
