V8 Speed & Resto Shop in Red Bud, Illinois started a new project called “Thunder’s Truck.” A customer approached the team to take a 1969 Ford F-100 truck and do a complete chassis and powertrain swap from a 2002 Ford Lighting truck. As mentioned the newer Ford truck’s chassis, suspension, ABS brakes, supercharged 5.4 L V8 and transmission were going inside the classis Ford body.
