BMW tuner Manhart Performance celebrated their 30th birthday with a limited edition BMW M2 called the MH2 630. The M2 comes from the factory with a turbocharged 3.0 L N55B30T0 inline-six which produces 365 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. They didn’t feel that was special enough to celebrate such a milestone so they swapped a twin-turbo 3.0 L S55 from a M3/M4 and increased the power from 431 horsepower to 630 horsepower. If you are interested in having one in your garage you better act soon and open up your saving account because Manhart will only be making five and said the price will be something in the “six-digit” range.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t S55 high performance version of the N55?
You are correct. From wiki
So in the nutshell they’ve replaced the engine with the higher performance version of the same engine.
