1971 Cutlass Convertible with a LS3

When this 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass convertible was first being worked on it needed a lot of work. In the metal department it required a new floor pan, rear quarters, trunk pan, and many patches. Once the metal was all sorted out it was time to turn to the powertrain. A new LS3 crate engine and 4L65E automatic transmission were installed using Holley mounts and oil pan. Other upgrades include a VaporWorx fuel system, American Autowire Chevelle Classis wiring harness, KORE3 C5 Corvette brakes, Turn One steering box, and most of a Ridetech GM A-body StreetGrip suspension system. All told the project took six month to turn a Cutlass into a very nice pro-touring classic.

  1. Pretty sweet build and the builder said it was mostly bolt on… He had the chassis completely off the frame and it is “mostly a bolt-on” LOL
