Installing a LSA into a 1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass – Part 5

1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass with a LSA V8 Part 4

V8 Speed & Resto Shop just released part five of their 1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass series. The series follows as the Cutlass receives a 6.2 L LSA and 4L80E automatic transmission. There is very little that happens in this video (only 3 min long). The team explains the break-in procedure for the crate engine and takes it to the dyno to tune the engine. In the end it produced 560 horsepower to the wheels which is much higher than advertised with no modifications to the engine.

      1. I was thinking the same thing and wondered if they committed to so many installments, instead of just what it would take for completion…
I’m still wishing I knew the guy who owns the car so I could ride in it. Seems it is pretty well finished. Shake down/ motor break-in miles logged and dyno-tuned to way over the CST-V, at the wheels. YUMMMMM
