The Deuce DeVille

Cadillac DeVille on a M35 Deuce and a half chassis

This Mad Max vehicle is called the “Deuce DeVille” and was built by Matt Groover. Matt took the rolling chassis from a M35 2.5-ton “deuce and a half” cargo truck and stuffed it under a 1964 Cadillac de Ville. This four door Caddy now sports a 6×6 drivetrain with a diesel inline-six that can’t really go fast but could pull your house. You can view more photos of the Deuce DeVille and Matt’s other creations at his Southern Rust FB page.

  1. According to Wiki , this body is 1963 de Ville , and that would be second generation … the main different is the piece under the headlights , and the rear end (first generation have massive fins) .

  2. I laugh and shake my head when I see stuff like this. These guys have talent, vision and a lot of time on their hands… Nice rides, the tall one and the short one…

  3. I am the builder of the Deuce DeVille, its been several tons of fun and gets driven everywhere it goes , the last trip I took was several hundred miles to the Rust Rebellion ratrod show in Evansville Indiana. I dont know about all the year model details but the original title says 1964 and it matches the vin plate. thank you for the great write up

    1. I love this build…. I’ve got a ‘66 Electra & been considering a similar build ( the Double Deuce ??)

Love the truck … have you built anything similar
