Building a 1973 Plymouth Road Runner with a Cummins V8

Dirt Every Day 1973 Plymouth Road Runner with a Cummins V8

Fred and Dave from Dirt Every Day are building a 4×4 diesel muscle car out of a 1973 Plymouth Road Runner. The engine will be a next generation Cummins ISV 5.0 L V8 turbo diesel crate engine. This is the exact same engine that will be used in the new Nissan Titan truck. From the factory the engine produces 275 horsepower and 565 ft-lb of torque. The rest of the drivetrain consists of a Allison 1000 six-speed automatic transmission and a transfer case to send all that diesel torque to four really big tires.

  1. Any idea what the cost will be to the general public for the next generation Cummins ISV 5.0 L V8 turbo diesel crate engine.

  2. Who do I contact for a stand alone computer and wiring harness for the swap?

I have a 67 Chevy Truck K20 4×4 that I’d like to put one in.
