2008 Dodge Charger with a LSx V8

2008 Dodge Charger with a 6.0 L LQ4 V8

The owner purchased this 2008 Dodge Charger with a blown 2.7 L V6 with intentions of rebuilding it. However after learning how bad these engines are and really liking Chevy engines, he decided to swap to a 6.0 L LQ4 V8 and 4L80E four-speed automatic transmission. The engine is stock except for a tune and made 308 horsepower to the wheels and gets 25 mpg on the highway.

    1. Wow that’s bad ass hey what can I do to make my 2001 Monte Carlo rear wheel drive an about how much will it cost to convert all that

        1. Damn I might as well just leave it the way it is if it cost that much an just to do a engine swap like I was going do……ima put the 5.3L in it from the 2006 Monte Carlo an I guess add a air intake in it then maybe later down the road I’ll just get me a old school Monte Carlo with rear wheel drive already

    2. Hi my name is Monte I have an 05 magnum with a 3.5 liter v6,but I’m a bowtie for life guy I bought the car for the intention of putting an Chevy motor in it,is there any tips that can help me install a Chevy motor in my dodge you can email me back at moneybagpaschal772@gmail.com

    3. Has anyone put a 5.3 or 6.0 chevy motors in a dodge charger or magnum i want to i have both cars and motors already just need info and part numbers please thank you

    4. How much did it cost. I have same dilema. My wife likes the look i don’t like the possibility of engine failure. Please let me know

    5. I have a 09 Charger with a blown 2.7 myself. I am thinking about a complete drivetrain swap from my totaled supercharged 01 z06 corvette. I pretty much have the rear mounts figured out but can’t find and info on what I would need for engine mounts. Are the strut towers strong enough to weld in a set or need some extra beef? Or should I simply just plate mount from the front? I was also curious about trying to retain completely stock interior including gauge cluster. Send any info to turnkeycustoms@hotmail.com
