The 2JZ has always been popular for engine swaps but I have noticed more “classic” vehicles using the turbo inline-six instead of a V8. Take for example this 1965 El Camino with a factory twin-turbo 2JZ-GTE and R154 five-speed. This is the first El Camino I have ever seen with one. The buyer is asking $19,500.
