Fiero with Lamborghini Body and GM Heart

Woody's Fiero Lamborghini Reventon

A steel fabricator with a ton of talent and an appreciation for the Lamborghini Reventon decided why not build a replica using nothing but American parts. My jaw dropped when I first saw this thing. The builder did a great job on the body. It started when the owner got a Fiero for $60. He purchased the car before he knew what to do with it. But soon after seeing the Lamborghini Revention he knew what the Fiero was going to turn into.

The engine is a 350 SB Chevy hooked to twin turbos. Other upgrades to the engine are crankshaft and connecting rods, pistons, cam, and roller rockers. There is no telling where the horsepower numbers will come in at but many systems can get 400-800 horsepower depending on setup. The transmission is a six speed from a Pontiac G6 GT with a Spec racing clutch and upgraded G6 axles. The front brakes calipers were taken off a Camaro and the rear were taken off a Cadillac and put on 11.24 inch rotors.

Here is what the owner said in the interview

I weighed the car on the way back from a car show and it was just over 2000 pounds without the motor/transmission/glass and some minor parts. It should be in the 3000-3500 pound range for sure, with most of the weight just ahead of the rear tires.
